Let's Get Wild!

Had to come out of hibernation to share how amazing this event was and because there are two more opportunities to check it out, we hope you’ll join in the fun!

The Madison Public Library and Madison Parks Division have teamed up to bring families a “Wild Rumpus”, an AnjiPlay based experience that encourages parents to let their kiddos play in a “hands off” way that allows for more creativity, problem-solving, and exploration.

As a full-time working/full-time mama, parenting strategies that teach me how to nurture my child while also being able to take care of myself and the various tasks I have at hand are monumental. I found this approach to be so valuable and have already applied it with more confidence at home over the last week.

Tony had a blast “skateboarding”, climbing, jumping, and chalking all over the place. There was so much for the kiddos to do and I got to sit back and relax for a bit. What a gift to the whole family!

Feeling so grateful for the opportunities our local libraries and parks offer our community. Thank you for bringing this event to our local park and supporting families in this unique way!
